I agree, with the Google Toolbar the only way you are going to get it is to actively go to the Google site and download it. You have it not because you were tricked into it or did it by mistaken but because you actively chose to download it. Also, during install you have your choice whether you want annon information sent back to google or you don't. Again, you are given the choice. The toolbar does not send you ads, it does not pop-up windows and it is actually USEFUL.

I don't think anyone should try to compare the two.

Webmasters who promote toolbars and history cleaning software are either newbies or just plain stupid. These types of programs work against the webmaster. Of course sponsor programs love history cleaning software and toolbars because they delete cookies or modify them so that the affiliate does not get credit for his/her sales. All you newbies out there promoting these programs, I'm sorry I dont speak "sheep" but I will try my best to get the message across to you... (baaaaaaa bbaaaaa baaah -> rough translation, stop promoting toolbars and history cleaning software). Got it? Good.

I know Dre, and i have spoken with him on iCQ and he is not the kind that is bullshit or thinks about falsely bring drama to gfy. I have mediaticket on my computer right now ... got tricked in a very missleading way . And I did get tracking ID change . I am not sure if I have other spyware right now too ...

Anyways the rest is based on 100 % facts . Ppl got spammed / called many time and it has became really annoying . This is NOT a way to build a solid compagny .

The way to build solid compagny is having a board rep or two, buying ads spots on every webmaster site and pulling up a serious program with good support .

Go surf a few TGPs and click on the hosted galleries. Click through to the programs and see if the affilate code changes.

Test Nastydollars, Topbucks, all the big programs

Here it goes again with claims of toolbars and history cleaning etc. perhaps Dre has a history of being honorable etc. but unfortunately he is wrong on this one. Don't all his bumbs show something else wierd is going on here. All that effort on his part with no type of evidence or explanation of where he got that stuff from. Doesn't it make you question his intentions at all? You guys have to wake up on this one. Four pages of posts of accusations that are ridiculous and easy to prove yet there is no proof. How hard would it be for us to have a toolbar and hide it, or for us to switch homepages and hide it. Somebody somewhere would let you know we have a toolbar or switch your homepage etc. but nobody does...cause we quite simply do not do that

I would think somebody out there would stand up to us being ripped apart with no evidence. As i have stated we will accept the charge that our affilates spammed in the past and that some would classify us as spyware. The other stuff is really a joke. I will take all the criticsm in the world if you note we are like google toolbar. Sombody stated that the difference between us and google toolbar is people go and actively download google toolbar and with us they are tricked. Actually with a mediaticket accepting a Mediaticket gets you access to a website. For downloading us you get to view a webmasters content. Along with it you get somethign that can be classified as spyware. However the same exact thing happens with google toolbar. You download the tool as the service and you also get what can be classified as spyware.
Again you guys have to wake up on this one. I undersand the anger from spamming etc and that dre apprently has alot of spare time on his hands to put this much effort into attacking us. I wish he would use some of that time to be accurate. I have to admire his focus though. He is a warrior, a soldier, a man from a great line of leaders. Finally!!!! Dre speaks up. Welcome to conversation.I thought i would never have this opportunity. Phew!! The thing being described in the post you showed was a webmaster who alterd our code. SO what does MediaTicket do to make sure this doesn;t happen frequently? We use our full time support staff that i talked about in previous posts. We ban this webmaster. TBut we don't stop there. See now that you are willing to do reseach i can help you out.
The people in the psot you showed are not talknig about uninstalling a mediaticket. They were confused. Uninstalling a mediaticket is very easy and can be doen by emailing us or visitng our website. Rather they were continually being shown the activ x that needs to be clicked on in order to accept a Mediaticket. The activX is what was bothering them. A wbmaster was forcing teh opportunity to download a MediaTicket down their throat. Now we only allow webmsters to show this activX three times, however some went and altered our code to how it mroe and force it ddown peopels throats as described in the the thread you posted. . So what did we do, the correct and resposnible thing. We made it impossible for webmasters to alter our code. although it was very difficult before we didnt have a set default. Nwo even if they code it to show more than three times, the Mediaticket defaults to three at most. Any more questions?
