It seems as though you guys are being SO MEAN to Allie, calling her names, and putting down her program for something that:

A)Probably isn't her fault
B)Probably making her a lot of money

I can completely sympathize, and understand with all of your frustrations (there has been times where the sound has startled me too), but I don't think that 5 threads about the same topic are necessary. There have been mentions of people calling her a "twat" and others harsh names--THIS IS UNNECESSARY. I'm ceertain that if the revenue from her banner was NOT worth all of the criticism then she would have taken it down by now--from what I hear, she is a very intelligent woman.

Then again..this is just my :2 cents:

I think there's enough people not blocking them, and mouseovering over the naughtyallie banner and jacking off to keep flash alive and well on GFY.
I seriously wonder why some people defend the banner. Epassporte one is horrible as well just because it startles me, luckily it stops on mouseover.
stupid cash isn't bad.. the sound is somehow a lot 'smoother' and it STOPS ON MOUSEOVER :)

Naughtybank banner is the only one that truly sucks. It COULD be bearable if the whining would stop on mouseover. Then I could quickly pull my mouse away from it.. but noo.. the sound just keeps coming, and if I accidentally take my mouse off.. and put it back (for whatever reason) there it starts again while the old whining is still going on.. overlapping squeeling sounds suck.
Overall I'll rate that banner 0.5/100 the ½ comes from decent graphical design.

She thinks this is a fucking Joke. dont epect anything from her.

The only response I have seen was her saying to someone who replied to the thread, "Hit me up because you just got a bonus"..or something along those lines. I think she is just hoping the thread will die. Do you want her to aplogize? Im just wondering what people want her to say/do? (BTW..im not being sarcastic. I'm cool with any misjudgements, such things can be corrected. But since weeks ago it's been very clear to everyone here that over 90% of GFY's users are EXTREMELY annoyed by the banner. This is not misjudgement anymore.

Again, doesn't concern me now that I have found the light in flashless life..but a few hours ago I would have appreciated if she would have fixed the banner so it would mute on mouseover OR change it completely.

she could AT LEAST address the issue in some way, instead of basically telling EVERYONE to fuck off. Some people were complainging about it affecting their kids. She could have said somehing to the people besides that slap in the face.

At least you have a reasonable solution to the problem. I want to reinterate the fact that I AGREE THAT THE SOUND IS A PROBLEM, but calling her names and saying that her program SUCKS is not a solution.
