I disagree I think they are bought by the big companies and if not sales the exposure is important.

Most of our top spots are sold to webmasters promoting other programs. Very few are actual site owners... Just an FYI

I have several affiliates that make a living buying top spots. One particular affiliate still pulls in over $200 daily from a sponsor he hasn't pushed in 9 months. The traffic source? Top TGP listings.

With a nice hun listing (in the middle somewhere) I can easily make 20+ on a good day, and about 5 on a bad one.

you should take them up on that. tgp isnt easy, just like anything else it takes a lot of trial and error and research.

Search engine traffic is also more difficult to get. Comparing conversions between search engine traffic and TGP traffic is a little bit silly. TGP traffic is much easier to come by and there's a lot more of it available.

Saying TGP traffic is a waste is silly. You just aren't a TGP kind of guy, no problem really.

i was bored, i know it converts terribly and I never do expect anything from it

Ratios don't mean shit ... it all boils down to the paycheck at the end of the pay period.
