    Smokers in NY tried new fire-safe cigs?

    So I had heard of the new law passed that says that in NY state, "fire-safe" cigarettes have to be available...

    I bought my regular smokes last night, and I'm noticing that unless I'm constantly puffing on the things, they put themselves out! These things suck ass!

    I normally light up a smoke and set it in the ashtray and pick it up once in a while. These things just die out and then I have to puff like I'm lighting a cigar to get it to smoke again

    The carton has no special labeling on it, has anyone else run into these things yet?

    Whats next, beer that evaporates unless you chug it instantly??

          But now since its summertime we hit outdoor clubs so the smoking law is useless as i puff as feel like it

              Na man, not the laws banning smokes in bars.. the cigs themselves put themselves out! Presumably supposed to be "safer" if you fall asleep and drop a lit cigarette or something retarded like that..

                  Yeah, good 'ol NYC always passing crappy anti-smokers laws..

                  They say it's because there are a few hundred fires started due to people leaving their lit cigarettes unattended, but what about the 100,000+ of us that want to talk a bit instead of constantly puffing away.. Fucking idiots.

                  Mind you NYC also has the highest price per pack, $7.50-$8.50 depending on the part of the city you buy it in. We aren't talking about the Djarum Cloves either, these prices are for Premium cigarettes like Camel and Marlboros.. On top of which we can no longer smoke in bars, clubs, restaurants, pool halls, or anywhere else indoors anymore, which is fine in the summer, but in the winter, psh, let's not even go there.

                  I started buying my cigarettes in Aruba in the Duty Free shops for about $11-$13 per carton, so fuck all these laws.

                          Isn't it a City law? I don't see them in stores out on the Island but I did buy them in the City last week.

                              I'm not sure if it's a City or State law.. Either way, buy your cigarettes from Europe or the Bahamas, muuuuuch cheaper.

                                  Yeah see I'm not even in NYC, just in upstate area.. Theres NO special labelling on the carton, and I did NOT request anything special..

                                  so be on the lookout.. they suck bad. Not that it's a good habit, but crap these things blow! I'm guessing that they treat the paper with something, probably causes cancer itself..

                                                      On another note, has anyone seen Camel's new candy flavored cigarettes? I was just down in the US and I couldn't fucking believe it. They have pineapple and shit, it looks like it's candy. I guess after they were forced to loose Joe Camel they had to find another way to advertise to kids.

                                                      I'm a smoker, smokers want their smokes to taste like smoke. Kids like pineapple flavored shit and colorful cases.
