How about a sales contest. I am sure you have some larger sponsors that put up some pretty good prizes. Pick a sponsor, have the girls sign up for the program and see how many sales they can generate for the sponsor in the given pay period.............The worst that will happen is they won't sell anything.......the people who don't actually win might get paid, and the winner picks up a nice bonus............

AH Ivy Sweetie I know what my boss said, it's not just a beauty contest but showing that you can throw a site together doesn't make you Einstein. The contest is not about being a webmistress, do I need to explain this to you over ICQ so you understand? It's about a well rounded girl, with beauty and brains in ALL fields of the industry. Webmistress, model, programmer, graphics designer, Sales Rep etc........

And therein lies the problem. So far three picture rounds makes it seem like the non-model types are definitely at a disadvantage.

I am not bashing the contest, just hoping that it gets into other types of challenges.

I have never signed up for an affiliate pgm or tried to sell something that is not my own product, so that would be a challenge that I would not be quite "up to."

I understand the difficulty of choosing tasks, considering the wide range of talents in the contestant pool. I totally feel for you. Just please don't yell at me. :)

If I was a girl I would be insulted lol. If It was such a open to everyone in the industry contest. It wouldnt of been basically a photo contest so far and the judges would of voted not public opinion. I mean three rounds and two of them have been won by models. Stop lol

Nah I meant it as it takes more than building a site to be a smart/good webmaster. Knowing how to run the site and conduct business is a HUGE part of it. Or at least that is what I have seen from the webmasters I have been around who are successful.

How about some photos in one of two places. Flashing this would be fine. Either in a public Library in a main hallway, or in the middle of a football field. The ball field has to be done during the day. In the photo, tits and landing strip must be shown.!!! Or something like that..

OK, here's a stupid idea. Email a set of biz related questions. After answered, they're mailed back to adult.com. Maybe three questions and we vote on the responses. This could be blind where you don't know who the answer belongs to or not. These could be open ended Qs with no absolute right answer. The answers would have to be limited to 25 words or ??

That's a great idea...but again, what's to say that they're not getting help from other professionals in the business with their answers?

Maybe it should be a phone interview with an adult.com/gfy representative and their answers posted here with out names attached.

there was a video contest here awhile back with some cool submissions - do a funniest video contest - or just audio for who has the sexiest voice - or a quiz but don't reveal who filled out the answers until after the GFY vote (so there won't be any bias in the voting) - anything but just endless rounds of pictures.

Send all the contestants an identical 12 inch dildo and see who can deep throat it the furthest (hey, that's a talent!)

They are supposed to be webmasters with some level of marketing and sales skills......... why not do what I did when I ran the Mr and Miss PIB (god did I actually SAY that?)......... have them tested on their Marketing Skills? Have the vote on who has the most creative Marketing skills involving GFY ...... to the masses, not to the members of this board......... Press Releases about this contest, ads...... whatever.

We had all sorts of things like this when I ran that and it was an all around thing, not just on looks and such...... and it was a blast watching them do it. Some had some of the most awesome tactics I had ever seen. :thumbsup
