And you are talking to somebody who has always lived by an ocean and never been in one. Not one toe..nothing. My dad took me to Jaws when I was 5 ever since then I have been so frightened (unnecessarily, I know guys, but that's what phobia's are...unrealistic fears) that I will NEVER swim in any ocean, boat on an ocean, hell I don't even like flying over an ocean.

But, that is no excuse (whether I feel "warm" towards the creature or not) to arrogantly kill any living creature. Especially for something like a "delicacy". And then to do it in such a viscious manner! Pisses me off to no end. They are to be respected. They are at the top of the food chain, needed for ecological balance and for christ's sake they are PREHISTORIC! They have survived extinction. The same reason I like crocs and alligators.

Even worse to me... Killing the magnificent, astoundingly beautiful tiger, cuz in some countries, they believe their balls give them balls (aphrodisiac). Talk about ARRRGGGHHH!

The preservation of land, animals, land resources, etc. is something I have always fought for and always will.

What a waste - dumping the shark's body back into the water. I say make some shark fillets. A nice butter sauce and some capers should make it delicious.

it kicked the shit out of the slicer machine (like they use to cut cold cuts at a deli)

seems a shame to waste the rest of the shark, especially when they go fucking nuts for all that raw fish and squid and shit.
