On a more practical note, what if you're taking a picture of midgets having sex. Will the camera think that the midgets are minors and alert the FBI?

It says that it will "likely" be carried by Feinstien. It would take a politician with a very conservative constituency to be able to support something so Orwellian. Something she does not have. If you were going to do a story like that, you would deliberately make it seem bi-partisan to try to give it legitimacy, even if you didn't have the facts to back it up. If she was to support something like that then I would be horrified to have voted for her.

Sounds like a bunch of far fetched crap. You can't tell me that camera makers are going to build cameras with a gps homing device and "special software" that can accurately detect KP. Keeping not only the size, but cost of the camera feasibly priced.
Plus, how much would it cost to have a receiver to recieve these "alerts"? How many Police Depts are going to buy one?
As much as I detest KP and those that support it, this article seems to have little based in fact...IMHO!Looking for Opportunity!

wizzo, you don't have to broadcast to a satelite to be pickup. Just a relay near by like your cellular is good enough. Targetting specifics is also there. Here's a senario, It's my 5 year olds birthday, and it's a pool party, so she is in her bathing suit, when grandma leans over to give her a birthday kiss...With my new digital camera(which I had to pay alot more money for to "protect the children") I try to capture the moment, but it won't snap the picture and a few minutes later the police come knocking on my door because they think I'm shooting kiddie Porn...I hope that the company that sold me the camera has a good legal team...cause I'm sueing the shit out of 'em!

With that shit, you can't read any data on your HD without the proper key's (Given to you by a superior authority of course) for every access you make.
