Department of Homeland Security recomends any browser BUT IE for security reason!!

Bill will not be too happy with this!!

The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team touched off a storm this week when it recommended for security reasons using browsers other than Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer.

All the more reason to stick to a safe browser. Try Opera and never look back!

I've been using this browser for 6 months now and I can't believe the shit this thing gets me through with not a single infection. Couple this with NAV2003 and your laughing as you surf the most dangerous sites around. Try surfing the sexocean.com network on IE. A few days later come back after you have cleaned your shit out and try Opera and you'll realize how much of a dumbass you are for using IE.

It's probably easier for the government to gather our private info if we don't use IE...There's some kind of hidden agenda...That's for sure...

Question for you:

If Mac's were the predominate OS/whatever these days, or even *nix, you truly believe things would be different?

An attention whore (read: all virus/trojan/worm writers for the most part) target the masses. And the masses use Windows.

All software, no matter how "final" the version is, is full of bugs. There is always a work around. You should know that working in this industry

Your correct, but at the end of the day, it stands the fact that they are not the mainstream choice for numerous reasons.

So sure, your correct on why they are safe, but they are still safer.

I doubt we can logically argue that Mac's will become the most used option for consumers or the main target for viruses anytime soon.
