I didn't SAY he was maliciously making this post to DO that.

Obviously he wasn't doing that. That's what I said.

How would Aaron give a warning if it didn't have pop-ups at the time?

That fucking thing threw 3 viruses at me, mutliple pages popping, attempted homepage changes, knocked up my WMP, and tried to autodownload some shit. A WARNING sure would have been appreciated. I run norton and a DL prog so nothing got through but it was a bitch getting everything closed and shut down. Are we trying to fuck up peoples computers at this board now

Not to get off topic, but I have been in the game awhile and have always used IE and cross referenced everything in Navigator. Besides early versions of IE I have never had a problem using it. Whats the pros/cons of using Opera or any of the others for that matter over IE besides the fact that IE doesn't always implement standard W3C guidelines. I might have to consider making a switch...

Opera still doesn't display everything as well as IE, but it's a great browser. Much safer than surfing with IE. For designing of course you want to check everything with IE.

I love the "paste and go" and the mouse gesture for going back and forward (which are much faster than the Firefox mouse gestures). IMO the user interface isn't as good as IE and it has ads if you don't buy it.

How hard is that.
I never said anything about that link having a virus. Others are having that problem with it but I am not so why the hell would I have known to post a warning about that?

Use your fucking head.

I looked in my TGP's "idiot list" and that same guy has been submitting via Russian Submitter to my site.

It's detected his pages and automatically banned and reported them to me, along with tons like them.

It looks like sites like these are throwing different code depending on referers, I can download a source that looks like a legit tgp gallery, albeit with content issues, then when loading it a second time I get a page with redirects.

I got the "Current settings prohibit the use of Active X controls on this page" or some damn things like that. Plus my spyware blocked something...then my IE crashed.

Same thing happened to me. First time I clicked the link, it popped a few windows. (I'm using Netscape)
The next few times I clicked it no windows popped.

This happens a lot, they must be using .htaccess or scripts to pop windows on every 100th surfer for example.
Makes checking links in TGP's difficult if they only redirect every once in awhile. The link checker in Auto Gallery is kind of useless because of the fact the dialler/toolbar page is only loaded once in awhile and not for every surfer. Rest of the time it looks like a normal TGP submission.
