specific bandwidth questions - general help
After searching through some posts on this subject I couldn't find a satisfying amount of info so heres my post:
![]() I've never dealt with bandwidth before, and I'm sick of all the shit I get from freehosts with TGP's, and I'm looking for my own hosting. Pretty much what I'm planning to do is run a site like sleazydream.com. This guy submits 2 galleries a day to TGPs all over the place, and I always see him listed near the top. - Here's an example gallery: http://www.sleazydream.com/05d/i1.html Any idea how much bandwidth something like this would burn for say.... 500,000K uniques from your average TGP surfer??? - Let me word this into a specific question, what host would you recommend to use for HEAVY tgp traffic all things considered? Your help always appreciated, thanks! [This message has been edited by kush (edited 04-02-2001).] |

You can go dedicated even if you dont know how to admin your own server. If you want a seriously fast server and are going to push a lot of TGP traffic, dedicated really is the best way to go. Email me [email protected] or icq me 14456985 and I might be able to help you out.
