50 people eating poutine
|
The traditional poutine here in Saint Boniface, Winnipeg, is made with:
Fries cheese curds beef gravy I also like to shoot a smattering of tobasco on them as well, for some extra oomph. |
There's a great mom and pop place out here where I live(Vaudreuil) that makes amazing poutines. I think it's the only positive thing about moving out here. That and tons of hot chicks on bikes.

What, you aussies have no dishes that are "bad" for you? Bullshit. And in the USA they got such envigorating entrees as "Chicken fried steak"..... "deep-fried catfish", and several others I would describe as heart attack on a plate. Poutine is comfort food. If you're on the fatkins diet don't even be clicking on a poutine thread. You'll gain weight just being here. |

I got a question, do you americans eat fries with gravy?
i hear its fries and mayo over there, or is that europeans poutine is just fries with gravy and cheese, very popular in canada, i first tried it in quebec thou.. not gross at all. i once order a poutine with cut up pogos and other crap, now that looked like crap. definatly only something you would eat drunk. |

Poutine is SO yummy...fries with cheese curds and a spicy gravy. Heart attack on a plate but pure heaven if it's done right. |
