Silly ass webmasters in this business...

I had a guy ICQ me the other day.

He asks if I can pay out via paypal. I told him no as we're not getting an account frozen by them with money in it.

He proceeds to tell me then fine, I'm not getting his traffic (as if it were some high honor to get it).

I asked him why he needs paypal and can't take fedex'd checks. He says he moves around between countries too often.

I asked him why he can't take a bank wire. He says he changes his bank accounts all the time.

I asked him what type of sites he runs. He tells me I don't need to worry about that.

Some resellers are getting worse than some of the "high and mighty" TGP owners out there these days.

Sounds dodgy to me....if he moves countries and banks as often as he says then i would seriously doubt his traffic would be worth the risk.

Sounds like a spammer. Anyway, why not have a paypal account that withdrawls directly from a checking account when needed?

what the hell are you talking about?

He runs a total diff setup than you do, so he HAS to deal with these guys directly. I dont see what you're getting all pissy about .

PB - Chances are that guy was plotting committing fraudulent signups or planned on spamming your program. Paypal payments provides a layer of protection from directly having to give out sensitive information that can lead to an immediate trace of identity.
