I dont need an article or a movie to make up my mind about how I'm going to vote. Thanks for the link though, it was fun reading someone elses opinion FWIW.

I'm not a "Michael Moore follower" I just think the documentary was right.
Out of the whole film, the part that hit me that hardest and made me tear was when he was trying to get the congress members to enlist (or consider enlisting) their children into the army...the looks on their faces "Are you mad? Wha..."
The one guy (I don't know names, sorry) said "Ah, my son has kids"
Yet earlier in the film, when the marines? were recruiting, a man with his wife and kids said "I've got a family..." to which the marine replied "all the more reason to join!".

Fizzgig, Just cause it was in Moore's DOCUMENTARY (Suppose to be factual) does mean he got the facts right. I saw the movie and got the impression that Moore was trying to say that only one congressmen has offspring in the Military and in Iraq. That plane isn't true, There are more. For example Joe Biden of DE. If you go to his web site, he doesn't advertise the fact. There are others, it would take some research it to name them for you. If you're doing a documentary, you should have taken the time and he prolly did.Originally posted by Fizzgig

I found many other *facts* he presented a bit off. I still enjoyed the movie and it did give one food for thought. Some of the Bush moments were more than funny!
It's not that I'm a Bush lover or a Moore hater, it's just that he did get a lot wrong in what he called a DOCUMENTARY. He could get enough on Bush with out exagerating anything. Just put's him in the same category as Rush for leberals. In the end I think it hurts his cause.Comment
