Here's more details:

Software Package:

* Create an account with email verification
* Manage your account (with email verification when changing emails)
* Each user has a balance of his account. His balance is made of affiliate incomes and site advertising costs, plus payments, minus withdrawals (if it's the case). Payments can be done via paypal or manually entered by the site admin. Optional incoming payment modules can be built (see optional modules). Withdrawals will be put on a queue and will be approved and processed by the site admin
* Advertising: members can set up their listings with a bid amount. Each time a visitor will click their link, their account will be billed for that click. The member will set up a budget not to be exceeded for each site (optionally there can be a daily budget limit - see optional modules). They can enable each of their sites for up to X keywords (set from the site admin) and also for the default no-result page. The no-result page will be shown when there is no valid result. When an account is suspended or a campaign budget limit reached its balance or the available balance does not cover a potential click, the site will not be shown. Each site will be defined with a link (url) and a non-html description of up to 255 characters. A campaign can be suspended temporarily.
* Affiliate program: members can send people to the site using a special parameter containing their user name or code. They will earn a percentage of all traffic (clicks) that have been made within XXX hours / days or within the current session (you will set up the term in the site config) from users visiting from a referral link. To ensure security and try to avoid abuses, no more than 1 click per X seconds will be considered and no less more than Y clicks per Z hours to the same URL will be counted either when they are coming from the same user for the same referral ID. The users will be tracked by remote IP and a stored cookie.
* Additional security option 1: checking for referrer. If the referrer is not within our site, the affiliate click is not counted (this will work correctly on 98% of the browsers, there are chances for clicks not being counted because of a bad browser and a smart coder can trick this and emulate a correct referrer) - see optional modules
* Additional security option 2: an hourly script will run and check all IPs who generated affiliate clicks recently. If they respond as a proxy on standard ports (80,3128,8080) and they allow retrieving a test page on our server, all clicks counted from that IP are dropped. See optional modules
* PPC Engine: people will be able to search one or more keywords entered in a search box.
* Most popular searches: optional module which will show a list of the top N keywords that have been used during the last X days. See optional modules
* Most popular sites: optional module which will show a list of the first N sites that have been accessed during the last X days (this feature can be linked with all security options mentioned above). See optional modules
* Results can be shown directly on partner sites using either PHP remote includes (requires basic PHP knowledge and concepts understanding by partner webmasters) or _hahahahahahahahahaha includes. There will be an online wizard that will create _hahahahahahahahahaha or PHP code to embed in the remote site, based on the resulting banner space (468x60, 120x600, etc), the number of results per row, per column and the list of keywords allowed (up to X distinct keywords - number set by the admin). Highest ranking results matching those keywords will be shown. This will automatically include their referral codes. See optional modules
* Template-based layout will allow easy design implementation and changes.
* The administrator can suspend (then reenable) an account at any time, making the account owner not able to access his listings and making his listings invisible. The admin can also review users, their advertising areas, their balance, can do anything a user can do plus administer master settings.
* The site will accomodate 5000 members or more, as requested. It will be MySQL/PHP based and will contain separate tables for counting clicks in real time.

Long gone are the days of uber scripts, now a days people write shit and give it away for free just to get thier name out there.

There's SERVICE included with the script -- installation, maintenance, and modifications. In addition, there's tons of other services included--marketing, customer recruitment, traffic generation, etc.

Years ago about 98-99 i used to run wolfwhistle.com as a search engine with DMOZ Personal Open listing Directory. It used to chew the cpu big time on the server so i stopped as wanted to lease more servers for other things when the search engine stopped so did the hits i wish at the time there was something like this it may have made a difference to todays alternative.
