Ok, replica high-end watches, just who to buy from..?!?

hey all. k, bdjuf's thread about the Tag's got me thinking i'd like to buy a snazzy replica for traveling w/, and i did a little googling on the subject... and am totally lost now.

half the sites that come up in searches are supposed "review" sites for online replica dealers... they all conflict in opinion, and i get the impression that they are all run by competing replica dealers to try to scare would-be buyers. as an example, take a look at ReplicaReport... they list the site that was mentioned favorably in bdjuf's thread (copylex.com) as being a scam and not to be trusted, along w/ the site that i was wanting to buy a replica Cartier from... are these review sites bullshit or what?

can anyone recommend some other trusted sites that have a good selection of quality replicas perhaps..?

I just bought a watch from copylex.com, we'll just wait and see what happens.

I paid with a cc, if they fuck me I'll chargeback, simple as that.

the shitty thing was I couldnt tell if the watch has a sweeping second hand or not. that and the weight are the two easiest ways to spot a fake rolex.

If you hold it and really look at it, you can tell.

but most gold digging Biatches and Stripper Ho's can't tell.

those are pretty expensive fake watches
i wouldn't judge on the pics on those sites, those are probably the real models you're seeing

they have the clockwork of a $5 kids watch, the cronograph (if any) doesn't work, the "gold" or "silver" irritates your skin

those that notice you're wearing an expensive watch often know enough about it to be able to tell it's a fake or not

what's the resale value of a fake watch ? hehe

I have friends who bought watches from them, and they will give you the best quality replica you can find anywhere. Basically if I were you though, and you lived near Canal street in New York or the "Alley" in down town LA, you can buy them for about 50% less and lower in person there. The quality of their Jacob and Company watches and their Rolexes are great, I know because I own the real ones and my buddy bought the replica ones and I can't tell the difference. Rolex even had a sweeping second hand... he took off the wristband to reveal the serial number on the wristband mounting lug which is where it is on my real one. It even had the green hologram on the bottom just like mine does.

If you are at all interested, he just gave me a list he has been compiling of replica manufacturers which make everything from Von Dutch hats, Tiffany and Co. bracelets and etc....... to watches and even in some odd cases, CARS! lol, yep, they even have a replica benz!!!

Bullshit that ppl can tell a GOOD fake rolex from the real thing. Buddy's brother bought a rolex and thought it was real. Went to 2 jewelery stores and they verifed it. Later he went to a better jeweler to fix something and was told that the watch is a fake because of the serial number.

A GOOD replica would have the same weight and materials as the real deal... just the s/n would be off.

not always true... some replicas are made so good, that the only way of finding out is to open up the back

the sweaping secong is not the best way to tell... all that means is the watch is automaic, thats why it moves the way it does... most good replicas are automatic also. here in LA they go for about 50 bucks in downtown, all it is, is just cheap/but automatic movement inside...to the eye they almost look alike.

fakes are fakes, its not only the looks, also the idea that you're wearing a fake watch, which is imho pretty lame

I can't wear mine to thailand no so i wont, why the hell would i need a watch when goin on a holiday, besides if you wear a fake theyll cut of your arm anyhow to get it

just spend a few k get the real thing and wear it when you want to

fakes are fakes but most of the people don't have the money for a real one.so spending 150 bucks for a rolex or whatever fake gives you at least the chance to wear a stylish watch...the alternative would be an ugly looking casio watch
