    I need sponsors with small cropped WMV OR ASF files I can use to promote them, not mpg or avi.

          Yes! Everytime I tried to do it with Windows Movie Maker it crashes.
          And I have tried alot of programs, but I never did get a good result.

              ever consider, re-encoding into mpg instead?

                      Does something like this work for you: SAMPLE VIDEO CONTENT ZIP

                      We have more like this at NAUGHTY BANK Each video content zip contains (4) 15 second clips in WMV & MPEG. They also include screen caps of each clip for preview thumbs.
