WOrth watching for the special effects, but a pretty fuckin' stupid movie if you ask me. The story line was hurting badly.

Nothing political, I'm a big supporter of ending global warming and all, but that movie seriously sucked.

Dennis Quaid plays an antisocial, borderline cocky scientist who is the only one to understand why the world is coming to an end. After a whole bunch of people tells him to fuck off, he decides that since he can't save the world, fuck it, he will save his family.

Like any artsy fartsy movie along the same line (Volcano, Independence Day), there's the token dude who'll die a horrible death for no fucking logical reason and the guy who's an absolute asshole to the hero but turns around later after he got bitchslapped by "reality".

In the spirit of the movie, I give it a freezing minus 20 out of 10

That's $8 I could have spent on beer

pretty cool special effects, but if you look deeper on the reality side, this won't happen in the next 100 years (maybe im wrong, but its just me).

anyways, enjoy!

the special effects total about 10 minutes. The remaining time you'll want to stab out your eyes with a spoon handle.

i saw it and i fucking hated it. the ending was the worst ever man. WTF they didnt even explain why the fuck the storms just all of a sudden stopped and every is saved... WTF ???

and they bash Frederick Nietzsche, a very popular nihilist, in the movie. anyone remember that part? when they are looking for books to burn that guy and girl get in an argument over one of Nietzsche's books and the girls saids "He was in love with his sister!" blah blah blah.
