PS action or program do make thumbs with same h&w?

I've got hte action to make the same h&w, but I can't seem to be able to make an action for PS to save them properly with serial #

ie, first thumb named blah01, then 2nd thumb = blah02.

I was able to name them in serial, but it doesn't finish the action, right after the resize, it saves rather than resize, cute, make new image, paste, THEN it should save

does anyone know or have an action that could do this for batch in photoshop? or maybe a program that can do that?

just use a PS action to do height, width and save as desired type, then clsoe current image,.. now stop recording.

Then go and downlaod windows commander and use the multi rename tool (ctrl+m) and voila.
