Anyone own any? Are they profitable?

If you are talking about having a phone that runs through your pc on the net, like vonage, and then charging people to use it, yes it can make money, if you are in a tourist area..

I am in mexico and they charge 1$ per minute to call the us. My Vonage account I pay 39$ per month unlimited calls.

Do the math. But you will need to be in an area where there is a lot of tourists...
