Know a mainstream CMS that outputs friendly URL names?
I need a specific type of publishing system, aka a CMS. This is for MAINSTREAM, not adult, so no you don't have to point me to my own Content God nor a competing one either, as this is not for adult.
This is for text and site creation. I also do not need a portal system either, so no PostNuke suggestions please. The only catch is I want something that is SE friendly. And while those things with "category+id=?1" crap may be "friendly" it sure as hell won't get you up in the SEs with those PHP numbering schemes. I need something that will do all of that auto-generated crosslinking and categorizing, but that will also spit out REAL file names. In other words, if I'm doing a site about hot dogs, I want the output pages to say hotdog2.html or hotdog55.php -- something the SE would look for -- not question mark number something bullcrap. Anyone know of one, whether pay or free, that does what I want? I've looked around Hot Scripts and haven't found what I am searching for yet. Help appreciated. Thanks.

That could be a long search you're on...I've been in that position...it'll take some reworking of an original I bet.
Please icq/email me if you find something absolutely perfect. I'll wash your car. 126813938/[email protected] EDIT:BTW, you'll want to fix this link, http://summer:[email protected], on this page...http://www.allofemtoyou.com/contest/ I bet this gets more clicks than your banner does too...

Hoax, yep, it' a long tough search. I agree! If I find something I'll let you know. And if you beat me to it, visa versa.
Asher, I'm considering a custom script but at some point in the future. Right now I want to see if the wheel exists before I reinvent it. But I'll keep you in mind if my quest fails. PS - Hoax, thanks about that link. The sponsor asked for that specifically. I let them know it didn't quite work, but they were insistant. I'll have to come up with a solution to that. Appreciate the heads up though!

Although I've been able to do some cool things with the greymatter blog script...I know its not what you want but you may look to it as a starting point of some sort.
