My 4 foot rat snake got out of her cage last night anyone know of a fast way to find her. Like best places to look or maybe a way to get her into the open so I dont have to tear apart my house to find her.

If it's dark and cozy/small, she'll likely be there. Try closets, heating/cooling vents/ducts, behind the washer/dryer, behind the toilet, behind the couch/chairs, under bookshelves and planters, behind the fridge/stove.

KEEP THE DOORS CLOSED TO THE OUTSIDE!

I do hope you don't have other small pets running around in the house.

He's almost definitely somplace warm. Check around the water heater or anyplace where you have AC adapters that generate heat.

put a stunned or dead mouse in the cage and leave the cage open. I remember how I'd have to hold a mouse by it's tail and slap it's head on the concrete to stun it enough for my ball python to eat it.

my snake was smaller but he use to hide in between the yellow pages on the top shelf of my closet. First time he was missing for two days when I went to get the phone book out, he scared the shit out of me...after that if he was gone i always went for the top closet and or the bookshelf.

just about a sure thing, a rat snake will go to a hole. so look there first. furnace/heating duct, etc. then look for holes (like uplostery seams) under your furniture
