You could try Fairy washing-up liquid. Seriously.

I don't know whether you can buy it in Canada though...

Try using pure shampoo and conditioner base ie doesn't have all the added stuff like fragrance, etc etc.

You can get this from most stores that sell organic/natural supplies, some department stores or hair dressing supply stores.

It is cheap, won't damage your hair or make it too shiny.

A good wax or moulding putty with a thicker consistency will also cut down on the "shine factor".

Are you a guy or a girl?

Either way, shiny hair is good. Shiny = healthy. Dull = damaged/unhealthy. I don't even know if a shampoo can make it "not shiny". Healthy hair is smooth with a smooth cuticle, so it probably naturally reflects light more. If it's clean it's gonna shine.

Ask your hairstylist. You're still crazy, though. I buy all kinds of expensive shit to make my hair shine.

Hm.. never seen a shampoo advertised to give your hair a "matte" look instead of "shiny"...

baby shampoo will probably help strip out your old brand though and give you a base to work from.

I still miss prell concentrate in the glass tube

PS Rinse your hair with warm to hot instead of cool to warm water.

Asking for "matte" non-shiny hair is like asking how to increase you pimples, or how to make your under eye circles more noticeable, or how to make your wrinkles more deep set, or how to make your teeth more yellow.

You need to try "NIX" or "RID" Shampoo...

Ask for it at any pharmacy or grocery store with a Pharmacy..

Its called NIX SHAMPOO.. Or RID SHAMPOO..

Its the best... Serriously..

I use it. And I have dark hair..

Neutrogena has a shampoo that takes all the crap out of your hair - don't recall what its called, but it makes your hair dull looking.

Black Molva by Aveda.. this shampoo is insane.. it makes your hands black even.. well the conditioner.. it might make it shiny though, but fuck will it make your hair black(if it is naturally dark)
