If it was safer why is everyone in the government saying its not a question of if they'll hit us again, but when?

I know someone who has a relative high up in the NYC PD and there's been all sorts of stuff that's happened since 9/11 that luckily they got to, but how lucky can they get. It's all been kept from the press so far too which is really bad.

I seriously doubt anything like 9/11 will happen to US citizens in the near future. It is nowadays very difficult to travel to US for citizens with no mal intent and who don't even look middle eastern. Imagine how hard it would be for middle eastern type with mal intent.
