So, have any of you been on a commercial flight that offered Wi-Fi net access? If so, how was it?

I had it on a Delta First class flight to new orleans last month...it was fast, but was patchy meaning it worked sometimes, then cut out, then back on, then out again, then it worked for a bit longer then it stopped working, then it began again, and then id get an error page...

i did download some 5 mb files quickly...its 801.11g so its fairly nice

Awesome, I heard that it was still patchy too. Did you have to pay a fee to use it? And was it unrestricted net access, or just cached pages that you could access (I've actually heard of some airlines doing that).
