AMA Video 1st release. Opinion on box cover

Yeah, that's for sure, it looks kinda boring, like it wouldn't really stand out from a pile of other porn dvds.

Chick is cute but looks kinda bad in that insert pic (bottom right). I like seeing a little more rauch on boxes as well....

unless the chick is SUPER FUCKING HOT i want a preview of the action not just a clothed pic of the talent.

actually this is OK.

there is actually two distinct markets for asian content, both hardcore and softcore.

1. guys who really love asian women and have a romantic fixation on asian girls, and are more interested in the fantasy of having a "relationship" with an asian female (and this box cover would cover that softcore market)

2. guys who are mostly into the sexual mystique of asian girls (that cover should be more explicit showing b/g and g/g hardcore images).

both are viable markets.

so if it were me i would design 2 box covers and market the same DVD in 2 different directions.

I appreciate all opinions. I did remove the insert of her but Ive seen tons of successful vids with clothed front cover so im running that with the hardcore shots on thye back

If the insert is the pic on the bottom right, that does look out of place. You don't need gaping assholes and huge cocks on the cover to get rentals. In fact, I think this will get more looks than most other vids on the shelves.

Speaking from the standpoint that we sell alot of DVD's That cover just will not do it man. It may sell copies but it is not going to move as well as it could.

First thing off the bat man, kill your generic amavideo presents. Get yourself a logo with a name and be ready to brand it. It should be on the front, the spin and the back.

Its her first scene, make that jump off the box man.

Get original, no need for the fancy asian font. They will know its asian.

Lastly make her look alot more sexy and appealing. Right now she is looking like she is gunna give me the we can still be friends speach.

Of course this is just my 2 cents.
