WOW, that just shows being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He could of been a second slower crossing that street and it would of missed him. Damn.

he would have gotten clocked the the other car anyway. Seems like they both ran a red light or something. Why would the guy crossing the street go when oncomine traffic has a green.

OMG, that really made me shake. I've had close calls like that where accidents happened right in front of me.

Poor kid. It was like that accident was made just for him.

The way it looks it appears he's walking across the intersection on a red light though and didn't look continuosly to see if cars were coming.

Did he die?

You never know with this stuff. There was a lady on TV who rolled her car down an 85 ft cliff and didn't have a scratch on her. Some guys who tried to climb down to help her fell and I think died in the process or got completely bent out of shape.

If the car hit him at the right angle he might have been knocked over, knocked out, and baddly bruised but not killed cause it look like the car didn' t land on him.

I think one of the hardest things in life is no matter who you are or how much you have or how hard you try to be as secure as possible, at the end of the day your life can be snatched from you out of the blue in a matter of seconds.

pfffffff gone in a flash.

That's the reality of life.

How can anyone think this is the pedestrians fault somehow?

Look, all the cars opposite the camera come to a stop. It's clearly a red light when the car shoots forward, THROUGH the red light.

Pedestrians always have right of way, and it looks clear that he was crossing LONG before the light change..

Having said that, I havent read the print story yet..

hinde-sigth is always 20-20.

However, when you see two cars collide in front of you, you don't really have the mental wits about you to calculate which direction a vehicle is going to roll out of control
