unfortunatly 3d animation creates huge ass files(over 200k), at least at the level of technical knowlage I'm at right now.
So, I had to go with this. I know, not really mainstream looking, but screw it. It was fun to make.

WOW, these are looking awesome. Its going to be tough. I think instead of picking one winner, we should have a first, second and third place winner. I would hate to see the others not be used.

You should definately render this in Flash MX, I think it will narrow down the size at least 75%.

THanks for the tip, I considered that. As far as I know though, flash isn't alowed in sigs....unless you are saying that converting it to a flash file then back to a gif will drop the size?

I don't think converting it back to animated gif will get the size a lot lower than it was originally...I think flash is the only logical way to keep down the size really low.

But as you said, flash isn't allowed, so I think you need to alter your concept therefore :winkwink:

UMMMM one thing that should maybe be mentioned, they DO NOT co-locate. Unless I read it wrong on thier site. Here is a copy+paste right from thier front page.

DreamTank owns and operates it's own $9M data center in downtown Los Angeles with 192 strands of fiber into One Wilshire. We do not co-locate in someone else's data center.

Cyberage-Dave DID state however that the banners should mention co-locating;

But its just a matter of changing text I guess.

what we mean is that we actually own our own data center we are not co-located in someones facility

we are a bonified level three cert telco facility....

192 strands of fiber that home run directly into the MDF through diverse pathway to One Wilshire (backbone) more than SBC, Qwest, AT&T....no shit!
