Footage from an ABC news helicopter shows 36-year-old Stanley Miller put his hands above his head and got on the ground. One of the seven officers grabs Miller around the neck while another struck the suspect at least 11 times with a metal flashlight and kneed him three times.

I kinda suspect an IQ test is not part of the entrance screening for the LAPD.

A few thoughts, being a cop is a very hard job. They put their lives on the line so we can all sleep at night. They get disrespected all the time and that must fuck with you after a while. Also they make it sound like the police pulled a black minister out of mass and beat his ass. Rodney King was a piece of shit and if this guy was running from the police its safe to assume he is a piece of shit also. Black leaders should be ashamed of the pieces of shit not defend them and until the black people do and take responsiblity for the garbage in their communties. Things will never change.

The guy who commited the crime (car chase) was wrong. He doesn't "deserve" to get beat up because he did something wrong, he deserves to get arrested and go to jail. That's how our system works.

The cops, aren't supposed to be wrong, they're supposed to uphold the law. The cops are supposed to be the people we can count on to do the right thing. There's no law that says "if a guy drives through town at a 100 mph and causes harm to people, beat him to a pulp".

Do I condone endangering innocent lives through reckless car chases? No. But I don't condone cops taking it upon themselves to be the justice makers either.
