Pentium 4, anyone seen this beast?
Just wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on one, and if so what are your impressions, is it worth the cash or will it crash?

I got one.. 1400 mhz pentium 4
Its great.. And not worth the money?? Shit they are cheap.. Thats the good thing about em.. They are marketing the AFFORDABILITY of the p4.. When the PIII came out it was three times as much when it came out compared to the P4 The P4 is a really a great buy and a good great chip.. Dont let anyone tell ya other wise.. It is a fucking monster. ------------------ Webmaster/Owner www.boneprone.com icq: 66883099 |

My understanding is that the 1.2 GHz Athlon is currently equal to or FASTER for most apps. But the P4 pulls ahead on certain things, like Quake 3. The systems coming out with the P4 do seem extremely reasonably priced. I guess it just depends on whether you shell out for the big buck RAM or stick to the 133 Mhz SDRAM.
