:stop Why do some people watch beheading videos?

Ok, i understand - one can watch the first one just out of curiousity.
But WTF - there are some guys who immediately watch each of them just after they appear online....

After you watched the first one, you already know how it looks like, so why do you need more?
How does it make you feel watching it?

seems to be human nature for a lot of people to want death and destruction.

Those same people watch indy races just for the crashes.

It's the same reason that there's no good news on CNN.... only bad news.

I hate human nature. I wish people would evolve out of that already.

like what you just said "out of curiosity" and we all know that curiosity kills... we just wanted to see what had happened although we had an idea already its the curiosity that runs out on our head

I watched the Pearl video when it came out- never again will I watch something like that. I'll watch the Berg tape because it's pretty obviously fake.

I've been wondering the same thing. And why do sites like "rotten.com" exist. That is the worst form of indecency I can think of. I feel sorry for the poor families that have their loved ones in public forum like that. It disgusts me.

Go buy the DVD Gladiator.

Watching people get killed savagely has been a part of the human psyche for thousands of years.

People can't get enough of it as TV ratings have shown.

Just think how many people worldwide would tune in if they announced Saddam was going to be beheaded on live TV.

Daniel Pearl, you didn't hear as much about it in the US because it happened in Pakistan, and Bush didn't need to hide from the torture scandal at the time. If he wasn't a reporter I wonder if anyone would even know his name.

I can't think of any other reason to watch Indy/Nascar races besides the crashes.

I wouldn't
And i haven't watched Gladiator.
In general, in TV i watch only sports ( like this time a soccer match everyday ) and maybe a movie once in a MONTH.
All news i get currently come mostly from the internet.
Most people watch TV for entertainment..but insted of watching Tv i prefer meeting real people, or - often - when i want entertainment, i stay here on GFY, at least it's mixed with some business.

Its like people who go dreadfully slow on the highway when there is an accident, hoping to see something. Then sorry when they see it because they aren't a hard enough person. I believe sheep or lemming might apply.

I watched, because i wanted to know...I HAD to know...the Emotions that ran through my body the rage that rushed through my veins...NEVER have I watched something that instilled soooo much Emotion and Energy as the Berg video.

Then I saw the korean Vid on CJ today, and all it did was reinforce my extreme HATRED towards ANYONE who could be so viciously COWARD....
