HELP : My friend CPU's FAN is busted, what to do?

Can I buy a new one (only the fan) or I need to change the CPU + the fan ?

    Thanks!

You can replace those, but be careful snapping it on there so you don't fuck up the CPU.

Is it the fan for the Processor or the whole computer?

        Either way, replace it.

You can replace the fan. Just find out what size it is, most likely 80mm.
