    SpyWare: Wanted Dead or Alive!!

    I'm about ready to put a bounty out on Everybody that is building and distributing this shit.

    It's annoying as all hell. I just rebuilt my laptop two weeks ago... already it's almost non functional. my computers have good size drives and I use a ton of software. so I lose a lot of time - backing shit up, wiping them clean, and reinstalling.

    In the middle east they cut off hands for stealing watches. I think I'm gonna have to start instituting a little vigilante justice - maybe start with fingers.

    Anybody want to make a little hit list?

                      wellif you know all that why didn't you install the proper firewalls and other software to prevent the install of this adware?

                          I have all active-x turned off, do all the windows updates, my machine is behind a firewall and somehow the fuckers still get shit installed on my machines. Its real fucking annoying and if it pisses me off, I'm sure it pisses everyone off. I damn sure do not ever even look at the shit that they pop up on my screen, I'm trying to close it as fast as possbile then running a scan to unistall it.

                          this shit pisses me off worse than email spammers. Motherfuckers get a clue I'm not ever buying your shit that you force onto my screen.

                                                  it's destroying the Internet and it's gonna fuck this industry up bad - already has started. Keep a list of who's doing it, lodge a complaint with state attorney's general office in the state where the company or principals resides - my machine got knocked out for two days by the shit and i've had enough.

                                                  there will be huge class action lawsuits soon, we are talking hundreds of millions of dollars up for grabs when you start to assess the damage. the people who fixed my computer say their phones are off the hook all day long now with people whose computers are fucked by spyware.

                                                          im amazed it was able to get this bad without shit hitting the fan. I only lost data once due to shit liek this and man I was so damn pissed. I ended up trashing shit and cursing a blue streak all day. I then learned how to protect myself and listened to advice given.

                                                          Problem is though, people are aither too naive and blame themselves for getting infected in the first place or don't even know where to start for retaliation or where to start to find out how to protect themselves

                                                          In this day and age it makes me wish I did pc housecalls. Buddy of mine does them for virus and toolbar removals. It's insane how many so called "self taught pc geeks" cry for help and call him.

                                                              regardless i think its 100% bullshit and fucked up.

                                                                              the only fire wall i have is the basic one that comes with the netgear. probably not sufficient. but i have just about every version of ad-aware, spybot, spysweeper...etc.

                                                                              beyond all that - it is illegal - so if i want to get uppiddy... I WILL. even if they weren't breaking into my computer and auto installing software and changing things - like all my google results. They would still be committing fraud and stealing ad revenue from companies which you intended to visit

                                                                                  yeah i know, I always forget that most people don't know wtf they are doing at all with computers and can't get rid of this shit if they tried. I think someone posted a % of computers infected with some sort of spyware and it was an amazingly high %.
