Slaem's Lot Remake end song
goddamn, I watched Part2 tonight for a second time and still missed it in the credits...does anyone know who the band is that does the cover version of "Paint It Black" during the end credits?
it sounds kind of like mushroomhead Did anyone else catch this? Damn good remake. Even better than the original in some instances (including a couple changes and added characters and the school bus scene from the book)

I really liked it
I'm fairly familiar with the original, so enjoyed the added twists and Donald Sutherland owned the screen for the brief time he was on it

I watched it. Both nights. I thought it was pretty good, too. For some reason I wasn't expecting much.
I also liked the way the added the net into it, saying that he did most of his antique biz "online", and then the shot of the laptop checking out those sites. ![]() I also thought Dan Byrd was *really* good as Mark Petrie.

I also though Dan Byrd did an outstanding job, even better than Lance Kerwin in the original. I liked the Stephen King in-jokes too the dog named cujo, the pet semetary reference, the song "Stand By Me" playing at the karaoke bar I was disappointed there wasn't a Stephen King cameo though...
