oh no!!! Stats Period Ratio: 1:1236

i had a 1:350 ratio all last month and so far this month (since i've signed up to partnership) i've only got a pathetic 1:1236 ratio... argh!

mind you, i've only send 1,236 hits as i'm still sending 50% of my AP traffic to the per-click, but it's not looking good.

anyone else just switch to partnership? if so, how's it been doing compared to your per-click?

That happened to me too. Said fuck it, and stayed with the pay per click.

can anyone show me (personally if need be) their partnership stats so i can calculate how much you are making per click? i want to see if it's better than $0.06 or not. i mean, if i have a 1:350 ratio, i should make more on partnership in the long run, so there must be someone out there with a 1:350 ratio in partnership that's making more than $0.06/click. right?!

even if i can't see your stats, i'd still love to hear from anyone trying this out.

I tried the AP program for a couple a days back in Oct. I sent a small about of traffic (under 1000 clicks) and ended up with 2 trials. One of those trials is still a member! 5 months at $15 per month. -- not bad... I have started to promote the AP partnership program again... one thing that leaves me frustrated sometomes is the stats page - I can't tell where my clicks are coming from! And they must be only count second page hits but it isn't clearly stated anywhere.

Yeah guys, the same thing happend to me. I figured that I'd test it out by giving my AP Text Link traffic to the partnership program and my signups dropped down drastically. I still did get a few signups, but not as many as when I was in the per click text link program. THEN a couple of the people only took the trial, so I didn't make as much. I ended up changing back a few days ago.

I might try it with my banner traffic and see what happens. Like PornHero says about the person that stuck with it for 5-months. If you can get a few of those people under you, you could make some really nice money in the long run. I guess that getting it off the ground if the hard part.

I switched to a partnership program about 5 months ago. My signup ratio actually went up, but then again over a few months previous, they were sliding down with the the PPS program I was on. I don't attribute the increased signups to the partnership. Sending consistent traffic for 5 months, and several signups a day, I'm still waiting for the recurring to kick in.

What I've found is a pathetic 1 in 4 will recur over to a paying membership. That basically says that it'll take 4 months to hopefully make what I was in the per signup proggie. But this doesn't take into account the fact that people cancel after a few months, refund, and chargeback.

I talked to a friend that used the same program and he found the same thing as I did. Only 25% would recur over to a regular membership.

Basically, if I would of X all of the signups I got by $35 or $40 I'd be making a few THOUSAND more per month.

But I'm patient. I'll continue to wait it out another month or two and see where I stand then. I know the power of recurring. Hell I'm still getting checks from I-Gallery and I haven't pushed them in over 2 years. Seriously. It's beginning to sputter out, but I wonder what it would be at if I wouldn't have stopped using them.

I guess the bottom line is that if that program is your sole source of income, I wouldn't do a partnership. Be sure you've also got $$ coming in from other sources / traffic sources. Recurring is for the seriously long term.

here's my (cock)tale

Don't switch sponsor every fucking week/day!
If it doesn't work out that well, just wait
another 2 weeks! Many signups/minutes(dialer)
come from repeat visitors!!

Also, every site has it's own visitors! You
can't ask another guy wether that sponsor
is good or not, it might convert like
crazy on your site, but like shit on another
site.

thanks for the info guys.

the whole thing is, if you have a 1:300 ratio, it seems as if you should make twice that of a 1:800 ratio

AP is my main sponsor... so it sucks to make no money for a while.

ONE MORE THING...(and this is a repeat)
can someone take the money they've made in a month and divide it by the hits they've send in that same month? and see if they are making above or below the $0.06/click that they would get otherwise?!?!

thx,
