Is it legal to use DVD covers scans?

I'm planning to build my own online video store.

Is it legal to scan DVD covers and use it on my site as little thumbs?

Using the cover scans to promote the product you are selling should be ok.

Same idea as blockbuster putting posters up in the windows?

I don't think the RAA or MPA or whatever the group is called cares as long as they are making their %, which they will from the sale.

Don't sue me if you get sued though!

More so a legally obtained unit....

If you pirate, they will have better chances to nail you on the dvd cover than on the actual dvd.
