That was the most impressive one I have taken in by far. Wow.
Originally posted by SpaceAce I went and saw Mystere a couple of months ago. The recurring theme with the bg baby was weird but the show was great overall.
SpaceAce
I loved how the exit went through the giftshop. Great marketing plan.
I saw Varekai in LA back in October. A friend of mine convinced me to go.
Totally blew me away. Everything from the acrobatics, to the music. There is sooo much going on, I was overwhelmed. After spending the first 20 minutes trying to see everything, I gave up and just sat through the most amazing show.
If you have the chance to see them, do. It is very worth it.

IF YOU GO, GET SEATS RIGHT UP FRONT.
It's like visual & audial candy.
Great analogy, stevecore. The costumes, lights, and music make watching the performances fantastical.....add the incredible acrobatics and it's surreal.
Varekai thus far has been my favorite. Felt like a damn kid watching that performance...

I saw Verakai last week. It was insane. I've seen a couple other live shows (Dralion & Alegria), but Verakai was the best so far. The guy on crutches blew me away.
The acts, sets, costumes & music are all mind boggling!
Anyone else see Saltambanco? That was the one that I was dragged up on stage at.
I actually have had someone say I should sue Cirque, as I had a ventral hernia which is a rip in my stomach muscle and where part of the bowel pops through the tear in the muscle, and I was not to lift any weights whatsoever and the clown at one point jumped into my arms on stage and I am pretty sure that caused the rip to worsen...and I had some complications which is a long story but it was very presumptous to just jump in my arms like that.
