Should we webmasters use this? or is it really screwing our visitors?
How many of you sell your exit traffic?
Whats the pro's and con's ???

As long as you don't go overboard, why not use them where you can get away with it? It doesn't hurt anyone and it can definitely lead to extra sales. Two places to not use them: on a site you want listed at places that don't allow them, and on webmaster only pages.

Don't stop using exit consoles. Pack em in and stack em high.

And don't forget......

Entry ones that cascade, blind links, delay pages, windows without navigation, misleading text and graphics, top 10, top 100,top 1000, top 10000, top 1000000, best links, top sites and of course plenty of the bullshit that sticks to the monitor.

I agree Longhair,
When visitors exit my site only 2 pop-ups show.
More than 4 is'nt worth having,it just drives your visitors away.

If you can find a program that has just one single popup when exiting and doesnt open up tons of em but just ONE SINGLE PAGE as an exit, then go for it.. ITs hardly annoying.. It s the popups or exits that shoot a shitload of popups that you cant get out of that suck.. So if you can find a good less anoying one go for it!! Secondly good luck in finding one that not only does that, but actually pays..

For a popup hell I just go looking nope not for porn people

fucking clipart. The other day it was the biggest circle jerk, window popping ride I had in a long time.

Amd they say Adult webmasters suck because of a couple windows they've never been to clipart.com then

One is perfectly fine, 2 is ok, 3 is pushing, 4 or more, blah.

I was taking a look at a site today and I shit you not, I counted 23 pop-up windows, popping up 2-3 at a time, I was SOOOOOOO pissed off.almost crashed that little POS computer. I know that that site will never be brought up on my comp again.
