A woman's place is in the FUCKING home!

Nah, I don't really believe that, just stirring shit.

I was raised by a single mom.... so I'm very accustomed to women working outside the home.

BUT, you'll notice that society REALLY started going down the crapper when women entered the workforce, and daycare became the norm.

(I'm stirring with a REALLY big spoon...)

Hey Killerelf if I remember correctly it was your mother kicking your ass, right? I have no kids as of right now, but when I do, the husband (which I don't have yet thank god) is staying home to watch them.

I think you worded it incorrectly, It should be, "A woman's place is fucking in MY home."

Anybody here listen to Tom Leykis? Now that guy says some pretty harsh shit about women.

heh-heh-heh.... I am used to women having the right to do whatever they want, go wherever they want, say whatever they want and be whatever they want.

BUT my dinner better be ready when I get home, the laundry better be done, the dishes had better be clean, the house better be immaculate and she better be horny everytime I am.

OK, girls... put the guns down. I was just kidding. C'mon... Seriously... Put those knives away, too. Can't y'all take a joke? Oh shit... I gotta' run!

"On the news tonight, any angry group of women killed and then ripped a certain Blakk Frogg into tiny bits as a result of a message he posted on the infamous Go Fuck Yourself messageboard. The now deceased Blakk Frogg issued a statement indicating that his post was not meant to be taken seriously, but the enraged women apparently did not see that part of the message, did not think he was being sincere, or just wanted an excuse to kill him. Back to you, Tim......"

Last I remember is he said something about I was supposed to be in the kitchen or bedroom.... next morning all the knives were gone. Hmmmmm

I am teasing.... My hubby spoils me absolutely rotten.

The real problem is now we CAN'T stay in the home if we WANT TO! Men expect you to work and don't get that raising children is a full time job. Now that pisses me off. It's like go out and work, bring home half of the income but......you still have to raise the kids and clean the house and you better do both WELL. Things would be a lot better for everyone if we got back to basics in the home. Daycare cannot replace hands on parenting.

Now, if you have to work like most single moms, than you have no choice. But two parents insisting that they have no choice, there are just too many bills, etc. while they are working to pay for the two nice cars, big house, etc. at the expense of raising you kids IS NOT COOL!

Scale down, get a smaller house, buy less shit that you don't really need and then you can supervise, educate and spend time with your kids. Of course, the last couple of years I have been very lucky. I get to work at home. But my son had to do the daycare thing for a long time, as I was a single mom. That was not fair to him. He deserved to have a mom or dad raising him not a stranger with a 6 kids to 1 ratio.

Now how's that for stirring up some shit, Skitz LOL

Well I agree with you _______ the youth of today have definitely have reach an all time low in the discipline and respect areas for sure. I?m also not so sure that they are so far behind in the morals area either.

Not all women belong in the home conversely not all women belong in the work place either. I was a psychology major in college (my other life) and one of my Favorite questions to ask these ?liberated? women was, who do you feel places the most pressure on you about going to college and getting a job? The majority of the females that I asked responded by saying other females or their mothers. Grant it there were a few that said that they were self motivated or felt pressure from their fathers/males. The numbers were greatly in favor of female pressure.

Females play a very important role in our lives from day one. Then we start dating them and everything goes haywire. We want one thing they want another, I think I?m getting off the topic. I?ll save that one for another time.

Fuck that a women place is in the home. I went away for a hockey tournament and came home to find my (or is it ours) kitchen painted god damn pink. None of this would have happened if she was out shoveling the laneway and clearing away the ice like she should have been.
I fixed her though and put her picture up at Home Depot and Canadian Tire with a caption saying "Do not sell this women paint, she is addicted to sniffing fumes."

LOL Burtman. And Mikey, you don't have to be a woman to stay home and work on your sites. You just have to be good enough at it to make a living.

Well, gosh...where do I begin?

I'm a single mom. I mother and I work and I build pornographic and non-pornographic websites.

I get real damned tired of being completely responsible for the demise of morality. Frankly, I think that morality is no different than it was 20 years ago, 50 years ago or even 100 years ago. What has changed is our awareness of goings on.

I do feel that the next time one wants to jump into a tirade about how awful it is to be raised by a single mother, try this little experiment:

Every time you would use the term "single mother", try replacing it with the term "absent father".

See, cause even though there are a lot of wonderful men out there that are happy to be dads and even choose to be the custodial parent in a divorce type situation. The sad reality is, many many more men either bail out before the kids are born, or after the divorce. I don't mean financially, either. They bail out emotionally.

To be honest, as much as I love my child and find that having her is the greatest part of my life, I don't think I would stay at home even if I had a choice. I don't think being at home all the time makes you a good parent. Remember, Kitty Menedez was a stay at home mom.

I do find that I feel the need to be home more now that my child is in the teen years. I believe more monitoring is needed now that she is of an age where she's making her own choices and not parroting my views.

Man, this is a thorny subject. You're lucky you caught me between PMS times...:0}

I am a stay-at-home mom myself, but I don't think it's right for every woman. I'm happily married with a great hubby who spoils me. I have 2 kids (2 yr/o boy & 8 month old girl). I love staying at home with them. When they grow up I know I can't say that I missed something cute that they did, or something they did for the first time.

I've all the respect in the world for working mothers. My mom, I love her to death, has been busting her ass since she starting working. She worked the whole time that my dad was on disability to support us. And she worked her ass off when he was dying from cancer. She's been working for a company for 10 years and she only makes 9 bucks an hour. It's sad that she gets treated this way, but she's the best one there and they know it. Anyways, it pisses me off when people diss my mom, and I know lots of woman that are successful and work their asses of for what they got.

Poizon, soundz like we have a lot in common.

My mom raised three teenagers on a teller's salary after my dad left.... She got cancer my last year of HS, and was in and out of the hospital for a year. My dad died of cancer two years later, but... he deserved it. She didn't.

Best wishes to ya', bro...... sounds like you have a great mom!

Yah, my mom had a battle with breast cancer and she's still going strong. It's gone now. And you've got to give anyone credit who can raise 9 kids like my mom, How the hell does she do it? No clue, but she's strong
If I was my mom, I'd have killed me and my brothers a long time ago
