What's the dumbest thing you've ever bought on an eBay bidding frenzy

Every now and then I go on an eBay bidding frenzy that I can't control. I m not really sure what the dumbest thing I've ever bought was, cause it happens a lot. What about you?

A really expensive bottle of bad vinegar...that happens when buying wine from people who probably store it on their kitchen table for years

I just bought a set of golf clubs on Ebay. Fed Ex arrived yesterday & they're in great shape, except for the stickers on every single club that say "MINDY". Gonna be fun peeling all of those fuckers off.

Stickers - pour a few drops of ronsonol lighter fluid on them...
they'll peel themselves off.

Hehe... I bought two of my cult favorites on Ebay - Sliders and Greatest American Hero. Sliders was absolutely terrible quality on VHS - but Greatest American Hero is actually pretty good quality, and on DVD.

A cisco router. Would of been great. But now I know to always read the entire description with it highlighted. The bottom text was in white with a white background. Which stated it was only the router shell. Live and learn.

I bought a bunch of microphones from the 60's that have plastic parabolic dishes attached to them, and advertised to pick up sounds from far distances. Not too bad looking from the ad, Bell & Howell, 6 of them for 10 bucks. Though I could use them for interesting recording in my home studio.

They suck complete ass.

$150 for an OEM Chrome/Leather Shift Knob last week. I don't even want the damn thing.

We are PowerSellers and I buy so much stuff on eBay to resell. Every now and then I go overboard and buy something for myself and then I decide I have to have 2 or 3 of them.
