No way, enjoying life way too much to give any of it up for money.
But then I do give up a lot of my life to work for money, but I'm still having fun. I guess the answer to this question depends on how much money you have and how old you are. |

This "value" of money is gittin like a disease :winkwink: |
Fuck no

My father died this year. It would have been a horrible time for him had I not been there with him through it all.
I had no idea this time last year that he would have ended up in that position. If someone had asked me last year if I would trade a few years for a great sum of money, I probably would have said yea. I'm sure that when I woke years later to find out the severity of events that had transpired while I was out of it, I would have become increasingly lamentful. No amount of money could have bought back the time I spent with my father....for his sake or for mine. |
Most already give the majority of their life away to the pursuit of money. :2 cents:
..40 years.. 8+ hours a day.. working a job they hate, and never total 1mil. 2 years, or 5 years, would be a bargain compared. |
I'd do it.
It might mean I'm that much closer to the Big Dirt Nap, but I would be certain that my wife and son could live comfortably on the investments. |
Fuck no. I can make that in a few years.

fuck no..........

2 Years - yes
5 Years - no |

I think it depends how old you are now... Like she said, 28 or 32, not a big diff in my book. but at 41 now, I'd say no, 1 million is not enough anyway :winkwink: But 2 years, I'd think about it before giving my final answer :glugglug |
People, this is pretty stupid...every day that goes by never comes back.
Your life is by far the most important thing. There is no money in the world that worth your life. Enjoy every moment of it. Now you know I am a bit older than most kids on this board...I am talking from experience....and I do have money. :thumbsup OH and BTW $1 mil barley buys you a small hous ein Los Angeles, does it really worth it? :Graucho |
I can't believe so many of you would do it. Or even hesitate to turn it down. I'm not that old yet, but I still value life over money.

depends... id do it if the deal is i die 5 years earlier
but if the deal makes me 5 years older i don't think i would :thumbsup hope thats made sense |
I'd pay a million for 5 extra years of life.
|
No way...
|
if I knew that I will live till 80, I`ll give two last years of my life for 1 million. But I will never give my 2 years now:winkwink:
|
If the money was tax-free, 1 million for 2 years, I can see someone doing that. Depends on how much your earning potential is right now though. Someone earning $100K a year right now might not feel the need to do this. 5 years would be out of the question for most I would think.
I would consider giving up 5 years for $5 million, not one. Tax-free. Btw, what would I be doing for those 5 years? Sleeping? In jail? What? |
Nope - but I had to think about it for a few secs :(

I wouldn't exchange 1, 2, or 5 years for $1 million. Maybe 1 year for 1 billion. Hmm. |
Never. I'm more afraid of dying (esepcially dying painfully than being poor). If I could I would want to live forever (but youthful looking ofcourse with NO wrinkles, NO dentures). I could care less about being a hero, I'm a wimp I don't want to die. Besides, not every millionaire helps out the world. To be honest, if I was rich I would donate SOME money to charity of course, but I would never give ALL my money to third world countries and save the world... If I'm gonna die I m ight as well enjoy my money myself.

then when you get it...all you want is more... not sharing it |
i'd pay 1 M to get 5 years of my life back.
|
sure, where do i sign up ? :Graucho
|
I think I could easily do it when I was 19 but now I am 30 and ok with money I make so the price offer is not fair :2 cents:

No. Because time spent with my family is worth more than money .:thumbsup
|
I'd do it if I was 1 year old. I cant remember that much from my 1-3 years anyway.. :2 cents:
