I can tell you one thing for sure I'm not one of those people that sit home studying the bible and by know means am I one to stumble into church on a Sunday morning after a night of heavy drinking.

My point is this; this country has survived much worse then a president with morals and values. Hell, look at the last eight years it was one scandal and lie after another and that started way before ?they? entered the Whitehouse. And more then just the Clintons have been not so good presidents. So I will gladly welcome a president that is going to bring some dignity back to the highest office in the greatest country in the world.

You people only hear what you want to hear and then you let paranoia set in. Bush says that he wants less government involved in our personal lives, and all you hear is, I?m a christen who wants to restrict your ability to browse, purchase, and sling porn.

Yes, and we all know the only thing worse than Bush Jr. was Bush Sr., right? Puleeze, I'd take Bush Sr. over Clinton anyday. The economy would be exactly the same as it is today, but we wouldn't have to watch scandle after scandle on TV every day.

With as much firepower in the world today as you say, wouldn't it make sense to pursue any available options to prevent total destruction? Polls say most Americans support a missle shield. And regardless, such a small issue shouldn't make or break your opinions about your president.

There are lots of problems in this country, the homeless are just one. Who's to say that they are more important than clean water, or education, or a minimum wage that keeps up with inflation? Not you, not I. People don't seem to understand that their tax dollars are used for a lot of programs that they don't agree with. Personally, I don't like the idea that some fraction of my tax dollars are used for ridiculous things like $200,000 studies to determine the best viewing angle for the TV in the Congressional waiting room (I didn't make that one up). But that's how government chooses to spend your money, and there isn't much you can do about it. Don't blame the president, it's Congress that controls the money.

As a young, black, American male I have to say that the american way of life in general is despicable. Instead of trying to emulate the governments of the world most liveable countries in the world like Canada and Sweden, Americans seem to be hellbent on creating a greater disparity between the rich and the poor.

You people should all remember that we are all social beings and that none of you could ever survive on your own. You all talk about rights and individual freedom but you don't realize there are such things as positive and negative freedoms. The economic liberty of the few, rich individuals can lead to the economic downfall of many. Without welfare, minimum wage and a progressive tax system the economy can spiral into depression.

You need government to put an injection of money into the economy to get it out of depression. If you want to abolish welfare and taxes and social security you might as well put a bullet to the economies head.

Bottom Line:
Keynesian economics(clinton)=good

free market economics(reaganism)=bad
