All I am going to say is this...
Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. I'm not excusing any errors they might have made on anybody's accounts, but I think that we could all probably agree that to start from scratch and endeavor to create such a massive solution is no small undertaking. In the grand scheme of things, if and when they get beyond what sounds like all of these growing pains then there's a great product we're all going to be able to use and enjoy. Epoch's commitment to adult is huge and wouldn't it be awesome if they were able to overcome all of the challenges and become an accepted alternative to PayPal? Seems to me that the operators have always displayed intelligence and humility and I would bet they'll read this thread, meet about it and work even harder to overcome these issues. As consumers we all have the choice to use their product or not to use it. Perhaps those of you who are dissatisfied should just give it a rest for a while... and try back later? ...I just wish them luck. I know what they're trying to do isn't easy and also that exponential growth is probably the single biggest challenge to overcome in business. If they succeed, the payoff will be huge for them and the dividends for our industry will be substantial too :) Cheers, Brad |

I worked for a mobile phone operator and most angry cust. that called were the ones that were temp. disconnected because of non-payment. General rule was that they could fax the proof of payment (piece of paper they get at the bank when they paid it cash at the bank) to get reactivated. Well people that were rude would get a nice big fat "don't reactivate untill payment showed up in system" on the top of their account screen and could wait for an extra 4-5 days to get their line reactivated. People at a helpdesk are no dogs! (most of them are doing their job as good as possible, so don't blaim them for the few that don't) |

Ironically this happened to me today for the first time. Overall though, I give them a big thumbs up. The exchange rates may be poor but the convenience outweighs that IMO.

Fixed with a 30 second phone call to the right person.
I swear the real techs there DO know what they're doing, it's the phone support people who haven't a clue. Every time I have dealt with someone in Corp, issues are instantly resolved. Just catching them is tough sometimes. |
