MPG to WMV conversion help needed
I have someone doing video conversions for me, but after a long time he's run into some problems. The first MPG to WMV conversions were great. After checking that the first few went fine, he then went and did a ton of them batch .... and long story short, they got all screwed up.
Before saying anything, hardware is not the problem. It's a high-end machine, lots of ram and video memory and processing, etc. It's the software (forget which one, but, obviously, it sucked.) Anyone else run into this problem? What software do you use / recommend for MPG to WMV batch conversions? PS - No, we don't have them in AVI or raw AVI format, just the MPGs. And no, not looking at this time to outsource, want to do it in-house. Thanks.

Windows media encoder is all you need.
The batch converter is great, and best of all it's all free.
