At 27 I'm at that age where everyone on MTV is starting to look like babies, teens starting to call me ma'am, little fine lines around the eyes, etc. I still feel 18 what the hell happened! After I turned 21 that was it, didn't want to get any older, it fucking sucks

Wow, I was feeling old in August when I turned 30. Especially since the girl I was talking to was only 19. She didn't know anything. She'd get pissed, when me and my friends would talk about our highschool days in the 80's (Late 80's). I remember back in the day when this girl I liked came home from college with her new boyfriend. I was 18 and her new dude was 27. He looked old as shit to me. Now, i'm getting called sir. Or, that old dude is crazy. Whenever I get my hair cut I can pass for 22 or so. I've been carded when I have short hair. Couple that with the fact, I can't grow a respectable beard or moustache. Dammit i'm rambling on like an old man.

In conclusion. I don't feel that old anymore. I still get along with those over 22 quite well. And people actually listen when I talk now. Some of you know what I mean. When you were younger, you could jump in a conversation around your house and no one would pay you attention. Now your input means something. You've graduated from the kids table.

I can relate to the "are you parents home?" one! 24 years old with a child of my own and I've had that one happen before, where she'll come running up to the door and call me mommy.

Im starting to feel a little old after seeing that list, and got called "ma'am" at the store the other day! But I agree that at least you start getting a little respect and people listen when you talk. "Graduating from the kids table" is always a nice benefit. :-)
