    News about 9/11

    ...coming from the 9/11 commission and some of it is old news as it has been explained before.

    NORAD was not positioned to monitor in country domestic flights...but only incoming aircraft from outside the country. This is old news as this has been explained before.

    Norad was not notified by the FFA about the hijackings soon enough to adequately respond. This is old news as this has been eplained before.

    When it was learned by NORAD what was taking place the White House ordered the planes to be shot down...but this order did not reach the pilots in time to take the action...though the White House...for a period thought that one or more aircraft had in fact been shot down. The fact that the White house ordered the planes shot down is old news as this has been explained before.

    What is new news...at least for me...there was to have been 10 aircraft involved in simultaneous attacks in country and other countries.

              If I am not mistaken...that information comes from the Senate Intel Committee that has been investigating...for the past year or so...the intelligence supplied to the Administration...and not the 9/11 Commission. Yes...you are correct for once...clueless...most people knew that.

                                                                      You guys got it wrong, the plan was to do 10 planes, a year before 9/11, suggested by one of Osama's head strategists (currently in custody in US) but Osama had veto'd the plan, for a more simpler plan of 4 planes. They were also short of trained pilots at the time.

                                                                              I should have been more specific...when I mentioned the 10 plane scenario...as you are correct...but does not alter the fact that the 10 plane scenario...was news to me.
