Mine is

M4T 1C4

and I put M4T 1C6

If the other one exists then it'll be put into the wrong bin but likely the postman will catch it when delivering since he knows the area. If the post code doesn't exist, it will probably be manually sorted and hopefully they can figure it out.

I've had that happen once before and it still arrived... the post office was able to figure out what I meant.

Hopefully they do for you as well.

Not kidding, if it gets sorted into the wrong bin then the actual postman making the delivery should be able to figure it out and fix it locally (especially if its just a small mistake like this). If the postal code doesn't exist though, its up in the air as to what happens but will likely get delivered. I have rarely had problems with canadian postal services, USPS is another story though.
