If you're not behind a _hardware_ firewall and you connect to the net, you'll be rooted before you can patch up via windows update. It's pretty sad.
Probably one of the many reasons that Hamburg, Germany has decided to phase out Windows and start transitioning to Linux servers for desktops. |
