Can anyone think of a good reason why GFY should want surfers lurking/posting?

I thought this was a place for webmasters to hangout and discuss industry issues and do biz. If there was a larger percentage of sufers amongst us, would not people become more guarded about what is discussed and the tone of this place be a lot different and for the worse?
