Adwords and cost per join

How many joins a day do you do from adwords ?
What do you pay per click and what does that work out to be per join?

Anyone dong 50+ a day from adwords?

Im not asking for the keywords or niches just curious how numbers from adwords and other PPC engines

I do it on the side just for fun. I usually make 2-5 sales a day at around $25-30 per join. I don't spend more then $20 a day on adwords. Its not where I make my money but I like to fiddle with it and when I find something that works I just let it ride out.

I do more joins with Overture than Adwords. But the ROI from Adwords is much better.

Adwords is alot easier than it used to be. I try and stay at $0.05/click. Just make a spreadsheet to track your results. It's pretty hard to not at least break even, so just scrap the campaigns that you just can't squeeze a cent out of.

I also was spending about 100 dollars a day in January and sending it to adstats. Those fuckers never paid me. Did they ever pay anyone after Jan?

Sure, you could get started with a couple hundred bucks. Even $100 should make some money for you.

I have extensive experience with Overture - gave up 'cos their ROI sucks as WG pointed out.

Yeah, its mostly my grandfathered accounts which I keep around. Everything else is barely profitable if even.

I've spent about $500 this month promoting Ronni Tuscadero and Little April on google, and I didnt get a single join.

I dont see how you guys break even with it, i tried different keywords, i didnt use the word free anywhere in it.

Any advice?

Nice thread! Keep it comming!

I'm not doing alot of sales on adwords but I'm thinking of outsourcing it. Know a good firm who handles everything but have to crunch some numbers first...

Yeah. Stop. If you've burned up $500 then it just isn't working. You need to either find a different sponsor or change your keywords and/or your ad. But for now, pause those campaigns.

If you are using keywords like "porn" or "sex" then you are going to get a ton of worthless clicks. Leave terms like that to the guys that know what they are doing.

Spend some time on Google looking for terms that aren't being beaten into the ground. There are still a lot of openings but you might have to be clever. Just don't be too clever or you won't get any clicks.

You might also want to keep your bids at 5 cents and set a low daily spending limit until you get the hang of this. Even 5 cent bids will get clicks and IMHO they are a better quality surfer because the freeloaders by and large clicked the first thing they saw. You will get fewer clicks this way but it is okay for practice.

There is no reason to be losing money on Adwords.

Your mileage may vary.

We promote pills on adwords. We get around a 300% ROI.

I did some stuff with Porndollar and did well with it on Google too. I want to get going on it again.

Adwords has delayed stats
And if you continue to get no clicks they will disable the ads until you make clickier ads.

dont you guys have problems with
1. getting the required CTR
2. receiving enough clicks?

It seems to me like to get 10 joins daily with adwords, you would have to promote 100 sites there, sicne all sites get so small amounts of traffic, unless you're top bidder.
But when you are a top bidder and bid 15 cents for "teen sex" or "teen pussy", and sponsor pays $25 per sale, then you need ratios better than 1:120.

It can be possible to get better ratios with niche sites, like haiy pussy, but then again, such traffic is relatively small, especially if you promote only for US / canada.
