Where to buy investment properties? Off topic

I've seen some of you mention here about your real estate and investment properties, but I was wondering if anyone has an ideas as to where I can find some affordable investment properties that I could fix up (locally if possible). Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could look?

Talk to your local banks. They always have lists of home in foreclosure.

          Spend you some brain.

Las Vegas real estate is out of this world. If you can get your hands on a decent home out here, then sit on it for a few months, you can turn around and sell it and make a bundle on it. The prices & value of homes out here is insane.
